So far I have intentionally tried to avoid making the game feel too "gamey". instead I wanted to try to reproduce the experience of sitting in the passenger seat in different lighting, weather, environments, etc. Literally, a simulator lol. Do people like that? Or would it be more fun to add more interaction and/or objectives inside the cabin?
Game features
What other features would be interesting?

- "Delay" mode where you're stuck sitting on the tarmac for some random time before takeoff - In the lavatory, I should be able to run the tap and flush the toilet - In-flight food and drink service for longer flights would be nice - Pamphlets, in-flight magazines, and other reading material stashed in the seat pocket. Maybe you could bring along a book to read on the flight too
As a flight simmer, it seems like it would be pretty cool to integrate this with MSFS or X-Plane telemetry in such a way that one person can fly the aircraft and anyone else can join in as a passenger.
TRUE!
This one is an amazing idea
loll this is awesome! I... actually might look into that...looks like both provide apis to access telemetry
Make it so you start from the gate, and you push back, etc and also add more aircraft so for transatlantic flights I can take the 787, 777, or 747
Also, idk if this is a bug, but when I started my first flight today, my altitude was really low, but when I closed and reopened the page, it was over 10,000
thanks for the suggestion! yes, flights continue even when you close the browser tab. so you don't have to sit through entire long-haul flights.. you can come back and check in from time to time. Thanks for playing :-)
Yea though idk if thats a bug or not cuz altitude seems to increase slowly and when i refresh the page it updates the altitude also maybe add like a display of the flight plan. I am a hardcore simmer flying mainly airliners (msfs 2024 and used to fly xplane) and i think this is a great fun tool
I see what you're saying about the altitude! I think what's happening is that the flight path is procedural and I'm interpolating between the pre-determined points, but only in a way that does not break physics. on refresh, it must be jumping directly to the next interpolated point directly. Thanks for pointing this out! I will fix it!
make a discord and advertise this sim
Make your flight routes accessible by being able to, e.g. two geopoints in the map, or a flightradar24 link.
Will allow easy plug & play features, e.g. allow to "hop on" flights near the user's current location.
Interesting suggestions, thank you! I had considered doing some integrations with flightradar or flightaware, but wasn't sure the right angle. appreciate the input!
I think it would be great to show the expected flight time when selecting a destination,
Would also be fun to earn "miles" for flights which could be redeemed for (in-game) prizes. A new set of clothes to change into, for example.
- a "party" feature where I could join up with friends and take simulated flights together.

PermalinkAdd web VR support for ultimate immersion also going to repeat what a different person said, flightradar24 integration to hop on friends' flights but virtually and also having other passengers would definitely add to the immersion, maybe as an option in the start flight settings?
I think it was mentioned already, but a "lobby" feature where multiple people can participate in a single flight would be awesome. I just had a Discord call with some of my friends where we all joined a flight at the same time and just flew together. It would be fun to have an option for a soundboard as well - think noises like coughing, crying baby, unintelligible whispers, etc. And using the overhead controls like the reading light, fan, etc.
I've had a lot of fun with this. If there's any way I can contribute, I'd like to try (I'm a mobile Dev by day lol)
